With 13 years of experience, Galen Miller has been providing top-quality landscaping to Lima and Findlay. He studied Horticulture at Clark State University and furthered his trade while interning at Disney World. He worked for a few different landscape companies before starting his own. His wife Lacey, has helped and supported him in his endeavor. With his experience, he has taken his company to new heights, and he looks forward to helping his company grow even further. He has been committed to the highest levels of customer service and attention to detail and requires this of all his staff as well.
In their spare time, Galen and Lacey love spending time with their three children Brielle, Ryland, and Aubree. They can be found attending their local church together or spending time outdoors, and playing with their family dog, Emma.
Emily is from Eaton, OH and now resides in Delphos, OH. She runs the office and handles most of the social media for The Grounds Guys.
Josh is our Production Manager as well as one of our skilled landscapers. He has 6 years of experience in the field. He supervises the team members and makes sure everything is working properly. He relishes the pride and satisfaction that comes from a well-maintained piece of property. He wants our quality of work to stand out. Josh also enjoys that his team holds itself to a higher standard than other landscaping services. He says, “Anyone can mow grass, but it’s up to us to be better. It’s our professional results and commitment to service that sets us apart.”
Though he’s already an excellent landscaper, Josh is also pushing himself to learn how to navigate the sales field. In his spare time, Josh loves being outdoors and can be found hunting or fishing when he can. He also loves spending time with his four children.
Adam grew up in Georgetown, a small town in Kentucky. Working outdoors is one of his favorite parts about working for The Grounds Guys, as well as meeting new people. Adam started with The Grounds Guys as a crew member and was promoted to Sales Consultant. When he is not working, he enjoys fixing up cars. Adam is also an ordained minister in the state of Ohio.
Hailing from a small town in northern Vermont, Derek Lacourse is one of our hardworking and dedicated landscaping technicians. He’s worked in the industry for 3 years and ensures our customers are happy with everything he does. Derek’s favorite part of his job is making his customers’ property look pristine on every visit. In his spare time, Derek loves hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and restoring cars. He’s hoping to turn his love for restoring cars into a career one day, but for now, he thoroughly enjoys providing quality landscaping to our customers. When he’s not working with our team, Derek is attending school and pursuing a degree.
Tucker comes to us from Lyndonville, a small town in Vermont. He grew up in the outdoors, working on his mom’s dairy farm doing chores and spending his life under the sun. He loves hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and working on cars.
His favorite part of being a professional landscaper is comparing the before and after of the properties we service. The satisfaction of a job well done is what keeps Tucker committed to providing the best customer service in the landscaping industry. He’s currently working toward his degree and works on cars in his spare time.
Mike grew up in Bluffton, a small town in Ohio. Some of his hobbies include sports, grilling and coaching. Even though the weather can sometimes make the job difficult, one of the most rewarding parts is being able to see the finished product and know they did a great job. One of Mike's aspirations is to become a police officer.
