The Grounds Guys® Team Member Robb Botticella was recognized by Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls, with a Certificate of Thanks for his extensive work providing maintenance at the historic Drummond Hill Cemetery.
The Drummond Hill Cemetery in Niagara is a historic cemetery dating back to the 1700's and was also the site of the famous "Battle of Lundy's Lane" in 1814.
The Grounds Guys Team Member Robb Botticella was recognized for his dedication to the grounds, as well as for taking the initiative to uncover grave markers that had become buried or overgrown. His work in uncovering grave markers allowed some visitors to discover distant relatives long thought lost, and resulted in many emails of thanks from city officials, museum staffs and visitors to the cemetery.
"We are so pleased that Robb was recognized by the city for his hard work," said Jeff McGee, Area Manager of The Grounds Guys of Niagara Falls. "Robb is an irreplaceable member of our team who takes ownership of the task at hand and takes pride in a job well done. He is the embodiment of our company's Code of Values and our 8 guiding Principles, the first of which is to 'Create a Remarkable Experience for our Customers'!"
