The Grounds Guys installed sod around a new pool for us. The staff was on time, detailed oriented and knowledgeable. The sod looks healthy.

We have a larger property in Mclean. I sent out 26 requests for proposals to various landscaping companies in the area. The Grounds Guys and Andre (the owner) stood out by far — both for the level of customer service, and knowledge. Andre is a former marketing executive with a formidible team of franchisee owners, and other specialists behind him who deeply care and know alot about lawns and landscaping. We’ve been using the Grounds guys for six months now — for landscaping purposes, for snow removal, for gutter cleanings, and holiday lighting. I am grateful to have found them. They have been incredibly responsive to our needs, are exceptionally professional, have a deep knowledge of the work, and I can trust them for fair market rates.

We reached out to the Grounds Guys days before the snow/ice storm hit on Jan 24 and they responded immediately. After assessing our needs for driveway, walkway and sidewalk clearing they provided a reasonable estimate for snow removal. Although they were delayed a few days due to the severity of the ice accumulation from the storm, they did an excellent job on our property and we would definitely use them again.

When the snowstorm came, I was a bit delayed on having someone help to clear it from my driveway and walkway. Thankfully the ground guys added me to their schedule last minute and dug me out.🙏🏽 they were true lifesavers. They were fast and efficient and got the job done so that I could get in and out of my home and have deliveries made to me. I really appreciate them so much.

The associate who cleared a wide enough path so I could get out of ny garage and to the street did an excellent job. He even waited until I pulled onto the street to be sure I could safely drive onto the syreet.

Andre…can’t thank you enough. This is a company that will do what it’s needed to complete a project satisfactorily.

We had a large cherry tree wrapped with lights for our Christmas spectacle. What a joy. Andre responded promptly to our call and the job was completed within a couple of days. The workmen were thorough and detailed and the price was reasonable. Each evening when our lights come to life with thousands of twinkling lights it rekindles the meaning and magic of Christmas.

Excellent work clearing weeds and overgrown vines from the backyard space. The power washing of the stone patio also made a huge difference.

Thank you Andre! Andre was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, offering ideas of what to do with my established gardens and yard, and what changes I can make. I waited to review until the grass came in :) We had a great experience with Andre and his cheerful, courteous crew. They core aerated the compacted soil, spread compost, and seeded our large yard. Beautiful grass is coming in now-I couldn’t be happier with it!

Andre was wonderful: so friendly, professional, informative, and so patient with all my many questions (and for a relatively small job). In our first attempt to have a “real lawn” in 21 years, The Ground Guys are surely the experts who are working to get us there!

The Grounds Guys did amazing Work clearly my backyard of so many invasive species , tall weeds , etc… and took multiple steps to minimize Bermuda grass regrowth. They cleared out everything and left me very happy with a clean landscape covered deep with fresh mulch.

We had a great experience with the Grounds Guys for a full yard cleanup, new sod, as well as arborvitae and magnolia tree planting. We first chose them for the yard cleanup as they were price competitive but the reason we continued to work with them for all the other projects was Andre’s customer service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to talk whenever I had questions – stopping by the house, talking on the phone, or email exchanges. His crew was professional, on-time, and courteous. I highly recommend them.

Andre was lovely and thorough with his assessment of our yard’s needs – the crew did a fantastic job. Within a day’s work they cleared out essentially a jungle that had taken over the backyard (machetes would have been required in a DIY attempt), nicely trimmed the trees/shrubs and installed mulch. They completely transformed our backyard – a space I looked upon with guilt became one I could enjoy again! Thank you Ground Guys – I strongly recommend them and would use them again and again!

Excellent experience with the Grounds Guys. They expertly removed crushed gravel from an area of our yard, replaced it with soil, and seeded the area. They also constructed a brick landing in front of a shed. We will certainly ask for their services again when we need help with outdoor projects.

I highly recommend The Grounds Guys! I bought a house that needed major landscaping help, to include drainage issues, installing a concrete pad for a shed, weed and ivy removal, grading, garden beds and grass. Andre was amazing – super responsive, explained and priced out multiple options, and answered all my questions. His pricing was very fair and consistent with other quotes I got – but what made The Grounds Guys my choice was the communication and customer service! The install team was at my house over 4 days and were very friendly and professional. They also went above and beyond in cleaning up the site (hard to do with the amount of dirt and mulch they brought in!). My yard looks amazing and I cant recommend The Grounds Guys highly enough for any sized landscaping project! I will certainly be using them again in the future!

Great communication, price matched quote. Workers showed up at scheduled time and were very professional. Job was completed as described and then some. Will be calling them back for seasonal maintenence.

Great people and ideas for our outdoor residential Christmas decoration

This is the best lawn service provider I have ever met. Their teams are professional, punctual and responsible. Highly recommended!

The Grounds Guys came to my recreational club and the lawn and surrounding perimeter were covered with ivy and overgrowth. They took care of all the issues of concern in a professional manner and did not disturb our members too much. They were pleasant, and thorough.

Andre and his crew did a fabulous job for our late winter work. The work is not cheap, but I feel that it is worth what Andre and his crew delivers. Everyone was friendly, the work was done efficiently, and they did a bonus rework of some rocks lining our driveway that looks great. There was one plant that needed to be replanted once the ground thawed. That was taken care of and they are following up with staking it. This company does live up to it’s message of continuing to take care of details until the customer is fully satisfied. My one note is to follow up with Andre on the phone if you don’t get a reply email in a day or two.
