His team – Jerry, Jarold, and Noah – just came out to do some demolition and clearing work and did a fantastic job. They were quick and thorough. Great service

Skyler and his crew did a great job removing my existing grass, and island in my front yard. They installed 720 square` feet of new Kentucky bluegrass sod. The yard looks fantastic, and I would use them again for any of my landscaping needs. They also installed premium brown mulch around the house, which really gave the house the fresh look that it needed!!!! I have to say Sean was great talking to me on the phone, and getting job estimate and date to due the work! Great job by The Ground Guys of Mchenry!!

I cant say enough about the Ground Guys. Eric and his wife Karen run a customer friendly and service orientated business. I had my underground sprinkler system installed by another local company in 2020 and they could not adjust it correctly. I actually had 6 different technicians out. I finally found the Ground Guys. Eric accessed the situation in a methodical logical manner and had it operating. Since then he services it annually and adjust it for top performance. This fall I wanted to over seed the lawn but couldn’t because the local company that installed it only put the system a few inches underground so I couldn’t core aerate. Eric suggested that he rent a special silt seeding machine which would create small openings in the ground so he could seed and it would take hold. The lawn looks great thanks to Eric again. If you are looking for a friendly team that is efficient, thorough and reliable you are looking for the Ground Guys. Its such a pleasure dealing with Eric and Karen.

Let’s be honest here… I’m recommending the local franchise owner (Eric in McHnery).,, he is the guy that is ultra reliable, always makes sure he delivers the best quality, turns up when he says he would. I found him through the good brand reviews… but he is the guy that makes me want to leave a 5 star review.

We were using another company to fertilize our yard for several years. We finally gave up on our hopes of a nice green lawn and switched to the Grounds Guys. Within months our yard was beautiful. We highly recommend.

Awesome!! That is the only way to describe what Eric, Karen, and their team did to our home. From in person consult, landscape plan, landscape installation, core aeration, fertilizing, and weekly lawn mowing Eric and his team show up promptly at 8am, and don’t stop until the entire is done. I am extremely impressed with Eric who as an owner is right there getting his hands dirty with his team and guiding them along the way to an end product we all are extremely proud of. Also, Karen who manages the office, is very friendly and easy to talk to. In addition she relays messages to the owner in record time. If you want a job done right the first time by the hardest working team, and expect the best results, then you know who to call – The Grounds Guy of Mchenry!!

Having been with GG for 10 yrs, I think they’re the best. When I have an issue & call them, they come ck it out, we talk about it, so I can understand, & they do what’s necessary. They always give me options and fair pricing.

Used the Ground Guys of McHenry for the second time this year for general Spring clean up and installation of gutter drainage. Scott came out to go over what I was looking to have done. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. Had a quote within a week or so and was able to get scheduled promptly. Guys showed up on time and were great to work with. They did an awesome job; we will be using them for future work. I went through 3-4 other landscapers just to get a quote and get ghosted. Never had an issue or concern with The Ground Guys!

The Ground Guys plow our driveway and shovel the sidewalk. We have used them for years. They are dependable, do a great job and communicate with their customers via email. I highly recommend.
