  • After years of neglect, I had a bunch of work needed in my yard, both in terms of planting and landscape design and some repairs to stonework. Ground Guys did it all, and did a wonderful job. They did a great job of explaining my options to me and walking me through a number of other things in my yard as well. Like any big project, there were a few unexpected things that came up and some follow-up needed for parts of the project. I found their team to be incredibly responsive. They came out the next day, moved super fast to fix things. They never acted like I was a problem in answering my thousands of questions and I felt like they really wanted to make sure I left the project satisfied. I work with a lot of contractors in my job, and for me, the communication, responsiveness, and follow-up are too rare, so I was happy to find that in their company. I will use Ground Guys again for any future projects.

  • After the ice storm we had a few years ago I needed a professional to reshape the trees in my front yard. Great folks, they took good care of my trees, gave me a fair price, and scheduled time when it would be healthiest to trim the trees. They made a special trip to offer an estimate and we agreed on how aggressive of a trim. They even sent me before and after photos.

  • I cannot express how satisfied I have been with this company. I was so depressed with the state of my “brand new” yard when I reached out to Grounds Guys. I thought it was a goner and you all have brought it back to life. THANK YOU! This is a locally owned and operated company, husband and wife are the owners and they go above and beyond. I moved into a home with brand-new landscaping and it was ruined within one year. My grass was infested with weeds and had brown spots in areas where the previous landscaper would leave lawn clippings. Grounds Guys came out and gave my yard an evaluation. Tanner (Owner) explained the best course of action and gave me some price estimates. Within two months, my yard looks better than ever. Four stubborn weeds are refusing to vacate the premises and the crew that comes by has been pulling them when they sprout. We are now working on clearing out the mulch beds. Tanner has taken the time to explain the process to me and answers ALL of my questions. I also get follow-up emails after service has been provided from April (Owner), to verify that everything was up to my expectations. My lawn was sprayed for weeds and an extra process to kickstart the cleanup. The clippings were being bagged for two months and in July, the team began leaving clippings in the yard, to help nourish the landscaping. I was so sure that the team forgot that they were not supposed to bag because I didn’t see clippings the way that I had previously seen them. Again, the explanation was provided that the blades are kept so sharp, it doesn’t leave clumps of grass. This allows for my grass to keep getting the nutrients that it needs to thrive. I appreciate the quality of service from Grounds Guys and I am no longer embarrassed to send my Green-Thumbed Momma pictures of my yard! She also approves!!
