The Grounds Guys fixed and expanded our front brick patio. After an issue arose, they came out almost immediately to fix it. Jeff was in constant contact with us and even gave us some complementary mulch for around the patio when they were done. We appreciated the quick turnaround and the great communication. I have used the grounds guys for multiple projects over the years. I’m basing this review on the recent order of landscaping rocks. I wasn’t quite sure what type of rock I was looking for so I showed Jeff the area I wanted to cover (around my pool) and he suggested river rock. They delivered the rocks the same week and they look beautiful!! It really cleaned up the space!

Excellent service and price. I contacted over five vendors to price out getting my shrub beds edged/mulched and the Grounds Guys crushed all other bids. Furthermore, they completed the job quickly, professionally, and with top notch quality. Knowing I was dealing with a real company that provided written agreements with clear terms, electronic processing, and possessed the proper insurance gave me great peace of mind. I was very impressed with the Grounds Guys. First, they actually show up on time when they said they would and completed the job in a timely manner. Second, they were very cooperative and accommodating with my changes to the plan and any questions i had. Thirdly, the follow up has been amazing. calls and emails with instructions on how to care for the new grass, when to water, etc. they are like a proud parent with their installs and won’t let things go south. Fourth, their prices were very reasonable. And lastly, ….I would highly recommend them.

Jeff and his team did a great job. Full aeration, overseed, and top dressing to help get the lawn ready to head into winter. He was extremely responsive and the team did great work.

The Grounds Guys did a great job mulching and spring cleaning our front and backyard areas. Jeff was so responsive and quick to get us on the schedule. We even have them lined up to do another project for us soon!

Hired them to repouring our garage floor. Started right away! Did a good job. The reason for 5 stars was the commitment to the quality of the work. We had issues with the garage door sealing and they came back and fixed it next day. They stand by their work. Hired them again to do front walkway. I had reclaimed brick from the back yard. Lots of work and time. They used it and it looks amazing. Can’t wait for them to finish up. Helpful tip, stay on Jeff. Txt him often and he is very responsive. Keep your job in his mind 🙂.

We had a 40-year-old stone retaining on the driveway that was bulging out and ready to fall. The guys were right on time and did a great job tearing down the wall, putting gravel behind it (which id didn’t have previously), and reassembling the stones in a beautiful design using the cleaner sides of the stones and matching the colors in a very pleasing look. We will definitely use them again for any future landscaping needs we might have.

The Grounds Guys were great. I’m in a very unique situation having to deal with the borough AND the Port Authority (TONS of red tape). But the Grounds Guys saw it through to the end and delivered an awesome product! I recommend their service to everyone. Before and after pics below.

We were in dire need of hiring a company to build a 2 tier retaining wall and placing boulders around our property. Our yard was falling and we was concerned that there would be damage to the house. Also, we had issues with random people parking in the lawn for convenience. Due to the location of the work that needed done (on a busy street against a steep hill), no one wanted to take the job. But Jeff Ungerman and his team saved the day. Jeff sent Tom out to meet with us and we were impressed from day one. Tom was not just on time, but a little early (which always impresses us). He was polite and informative of our options. We informed Tom of our budget and needs and he assured us he would relay the information to the owner. A few days later we got a response from Jeff (the owner) that he unfortunately could not stay within our budget due to rising prices and supply issues due to covid. But he never gave up on the project. After quite a lot of emails, Jeff went over every option he could come up with and we finally came up with a solution. His team was there the day after the contract was signed. They were fast, efficient, and very professional. Jeff was there also, working right alongside his crew. When the job was done, we were more than happy with the finished product. We will definitely use The Grounds Guys again and recommend them to everyone we know.

The Grounds Guys of Mt. Lebanon transformed my backyard with a beautiful privacy fence, removal and landscaping from old planter boxes. They did a beautiful job on a yard that is not close to level. They were so polite and professional.

The below was fixed and rating was updated: I was quoted around $700 for a job and was charged around $1600. I wouldn’t have minded a little overcharge, but this was over twice as much as the quote. They did good work, but the price was way off from the quote.
