Can’t say enough good things about The Ground Guys of McKinney! Literally, there is no job too big or small for Mark and his team. I have switched over my lawn and shrub maintenance program along with established lawn mowing to them because of the quality of services. I have had my lawn aerated, weeds treated, and trees and shrubs pruned along with various other small jobs and it always gets done timely exceeding my expectations! Mark is all about lawn and landscaping. Very responsive. I had originally contacted a different company that said they would be out and never showed, called and text them to no answer. Grounds Guys told me the day they would be in the area, came out and bid the job, crew showed up and did an incredible job. The Ground Guys, led by Mark Tackmam is an extremely capable and knowledgeable expert in completing any and all lawn projects. They completely rebuilt my backyard after I had major drainage issues. They regraded the soil, fixed the drainage system and installed new sod. Mark knows a lot about all aspects of ground maintenance. His Team is made up of hard working young men, who are respectful and gets the job done. I highly recommend The Ground Guys of McKinney!

My neighbors stop and ask how do I get my lawn so nice, green and no weeds. Well I hired Mark and Team to manage it for me. The Grounds Guys have been managing my lawn care since May 2021.

Highly recommend. Mark was a professional from beginning to end. I started with a lake in an area of the back yard every time it rained (grass quit growing under a tree) and desperately needed a French drain. That night, we had a pretty good rain so I got to see how well it worked. He was informative, clear about expectations and possible snags that sometimes happen on jobs and the contract was clear. VERY HAPPY and will use this company again for a project next year.

Mark is very sharp when it comes to electrical and plumbing for irrigation. After having several companies out here to fix my irrigation issues none of them to figure out the actual root cause like Mark could. He is thorough, creative and was happy to explain everything to me throughout the process. He is very transparent and exceptionally knowledgeable in many areas. Definitely the guy I’m calling when I have a ground issue.

I had Mark and his guys do a sod project for me. I got a few quotes from some companies, but felt they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes, and charging way too much. Mark explained the process to me, and they did a great job. I now have hired him to do my weekly mowing.
