During my 11 years in Burleson, rains have made an ever increasing muddy mess with standing water in places along the back and side fence lines of my property. I finally called Grounds Guys, because of their great reputation, to suggest how the problem could be fixed. When John Mills came over to look at the situation, I expected to get a sales pitch but it didn’t take long for me to realize he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. What I received from John was a comprehensive engineering proposal along with pricing. The work is now complete, consisting of an underground drainage system with aesthetically created hardscaping along the fencing. Pricing was as quoted. No surprises. About a month has gone by since the work was completed and through some very heavy downpours, there have been no more muddy places and no standing water. Thank you, John Mills and your crew.

The Grounds Guy’s of Burleson did a beautiful job of reinstalling our sprinkler system and automating it, and they did a great job installing sod. Our house looks so pretty! They are very professional and drive marked trucks and wear uniforms. Great service!

The guys did an incredible job on our sizable project. We shopped around beforehand and really happy we ended up going with them. They exceeded our expectations for sure. Francesco and his crew were all hands on deck!

We had the Grounds Guys come and build flower beds around our pool. We purchased the cinderblocks and tops and they did the hard stuff. They cleared out weeds, sprayed the ground with a herbicide to get of the weeds out and added additional soil. They were very timely and efficient and finished in just a couple of days. We would highly recommend them. John has a great team of guys.

I had a very troublesome area in my yard. Grounds Guys created a beautiful and natural alternative. Staff was easy to work with and exhibited attention to detail. The expense was very reasonable.

Fast and did a good job. I wish I could pay online in my back office with them but there isn’t a way to do it. I haven’t been able to call them for the payment. I think if they would fix this, they would get their payments a lot quicker. I was ready to pay the same day but then just have been super busy. We just closed on our home and so it’s just been a little overwhelming. The good news is they are very patient and haven’t bothered me about it. Please know I’m calling you soon to take care of that payment!

“UPDATE “ “After they reached out to me the grounds guys made arrangements to have the repairs fully completed at no cost to me”. Workers came out to my house. Did not repair the zone I called about. Then left. Rescheduled another guy to come out because the original guys could not locate the valve. Bad cell service led to miscommunication and I was not able to open the gate for second guy. He left. A week later I get a huge bill claiming they had come out and fixed “other things” but not the zone I called about. I asked what was fixed and what parts were used. They could not provide answers. They offered to reduce the bill by half……I said come out and show me the work. Point to it. Nothing had been done. Nothing repaired. I said I would not pay 1/2 of a job that was not done. Then they said ok. We will eat this bill. But claims they did the work I’m just not happy with it.

I appreciate their expertise in knowledge of plants. I had some of my plants taken out due to the wrong placement in the sun and replaced with the perfect type of plant for that type of sun/shade. Outstanding Work!

Extremely happy with the excavation work to stop my water pooling problem around the foundation of my home and yard. John was thorough,. professional, and very fair with pricing. He explained everything from beginning to end without any sales pressure. I will definitely will definitely use if ever needed in the future.

Our side yard has so much shade that grass does not grow. John designed a new landscape that combined the use of small and medium stones along with a variety of shade loving plants. It looks great!
