“I love gardening and having a nice yard, so I was getting incredibly stressed out when my front yard had almost no grass left. I saw an advertisement for The Grounds Guys of North San Antonio online and decided to call them. The owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, came out right away to measure, and I had a clear estimate the very next day. We scheduled the work, and they promised the job would be completed in three days. They stuck to their word perfectly! First, they removed the old, dead grass, then they brought in good quality soil, and on the third day, they laid down the specific type of grass I chose. The crew worked incredibly hard through those three days, and they were so polite. They even went the extra mile by putting mulch in my flower beds and trimming a couple of bushes in the front. Before they left, they gave me great advice to water it every day and avoid mowing it for 30 days. After a few recent days of heavy rain, my front yard looks absolutely beautiful! The grass is so green and growing so fast. This entire project was managed flawlessly by the owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, and his crew was extraordinary. I had sod installed about 2 weeks ago and it needed some help. Called these guys and they got my yard all leveled out, rolled the sod etc. It looks 100% better. I had the Ground Guys come out after my lawn mower broke and the constant rain had my yard completely over grown. David did the initial survey; he arrived on time and had a quote written up and sent over later that afternoon. The crew showed up on the scheduled day bright and early and were incredibly efficient. All three of them were so friendly and professional. They got everything under control in 2 hours and assured me that it will start to get back to its former glory over the next few weeks of regular maintenance. The initial cleanup cost was fair and, even though the storms over the holiday made the yard worse, they honored it. Costs for regular maintenance can’t be beat. Especially considering they are full service (even weeding garden beds)! If there is dog poop in and it gets on the equipment, they have to stop at their shop to clean everything to prevent possible contamination of other yards which does incur a fee.a A lawn mower has the potential to spread giardia, parvo and other difficult to manage threats to our furry friends if it comes in contact with contaminated fecal matter so I was happy to hear this. David told me about the policy up front so I wouldn’t be surprised if this occurred. I’m so glad I called and would definitely recommend them to others. See the before and after pics for reference.

Chad and the Team showed up promptly with Enthusiasm and Energy!! Even had some good vibes music playing! My wife and I were looking for someone to help us to revamp our back and front yards. We reached out to Grounds Guys San Antonio North West for help. Within a few days David came out to take photos and shortly following his visit Molly called to discuss what we wanted and she also made suggestions on what we should have planted. On the day work started both Molly and David arrived on time. During the day our sprinklers got nicked. Molly came in and told us what happened immediately. David let me know that he had already been in contact with someone and that they would be out the next day to fix the sprinkler. David came back to ensure that the sprinkler repair was done well and that the work finished on schedule. Grounds Guys San Antonio North West are honest, have integrity, and take pride in their work.
