Our lawn was 80% covered with weeds and we needed to look at options. We found The Grounds Guys online with many positive reviews, so we contacted them. Andy came over promptly he was great at going over our options and with no pressure on making a sale. We felt getting our lawn re-sodden in a couple of days and not waiting 18 -24 months of praying and lawn treatments to get our lawn back. Frank and The Grounds Guys crew were prompt each morning. The whole crew was respectful and kind to us. We asked many questions about the re-sodden project and Frank made sure that we were happy throughout the project. The owner Kenneth stopped by twice to make sure the project was going as expected and on the final day to make sure we were very happy with the overall project and results. In a couple of days we now have our whole lawn back and no more weeds 🎉 We added a few photos to show the size of the project. The Grounds Guys, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. In the midst of a pending total hip replacement, I needed to re-sod some sections of my front lawn as well set up lawn care maintenance due to my pending incapacitation. Pinged The Gounds Guys for a quote and timing on both, and they came thrugh with flying colors. Within a couple of weeks, they were on top of everything . . . and I am very relieved . . . and very happy. Top notch!

Ground Guys recently took over care of my neighborhood HOA property and the change in service over the last company has been 100% for the better! The guys are conscientious ,timely and professional. Amanda in the office is a pleasure to talk to and Ken has been professional and understands the needs of the customer. These guys are amazing!! They dealt with my very picky 89 year old dad and were understanding, helpful, prompt and respectful. Amanda is a gem, fantastic at her job, replies to requests right away. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience with this lawn company—from the initial interaction with the sales team to the attention to detail from the superintendent, LA. After trying several other companies in the past and being let down by incomplete or sloppy work, this team was a breath of fresh air. My lawn now has a beautiful, deep edge, the shrubs are perfectly manicured, and all the weeds in my paver driveway and beds have been taken care of. Everything looks clean, professional, and well-maintained. I’m extremely happy with the results and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier lawn care!

I contacted the Grounds Guys about replacing some sod. They came out quickly with an estimate, the quote was very fair, and the crew did a fantastic good. They prepared the area, laid the new sod, and actually had a little extra, so replaced another small area!! The entire experience was seamless and perfect! Feb 22, 2025 the Grounds Guys men came to lay sod after my yard was dug up to replace pipes. They came timely, worked very hard, were very knowledgeable, understood the tight properly lines between my house and the house next door. They were very knowledgeable and worked efficiently. I hope I don’t need to have pipes dug up again and sod laid again, but if I do I would surely call them back. PW

Professional, easy to work with, excellent job

Just was very fortunate to see the incredible clean up from The Grounds Guys after Hurricane Milton blew through ST Augustine. Came home to our location in ST Augustine yesterday looking like a war zone of tree limbs and debris and woke up this morning to about 12-16 workers that worked as if 75-100 workers were cleaning up.. Looks like nothing ever Happened just 24 hrs ago. I would hire this company over any I’ve ever seen do any cleanup. Hope people appreciate the amazing job they do

Kelly Bohannon and the crew at The Grounds Guys do a fabulous job. They take pride in their work and have a level of customer service I’ve never experienced in the industry. Kelly got a crew over within an hour after I called her to take care of my property after the last company failed to appear or call. Highly recommend!! The review above I wrote a year ago when The Grounds Guys took over my lawn. Since then they continue to exceed all expectations. The same crew, which is excellent, is here every week. They consistently do a great job and I’m picky. The office staff is courteous and helpful and Kelly continues to be available at any time. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

The Grounds Guys of St Augustine have done a very good job of maintaining my lawn weekly for nearly two years now at a reasonable price. I just wish all of their employees were as diligent as Josh, he is hard working and makes sure everything in my lawn that was contracted to be maintained is maintained to keep it looking great.

I recently switched my regular lawn and landscaping maintenance service to the Grounds Guys. I could not be more pleased. After three years of struggling to get my Zoysia grass to look good – as in green and lush – and failing with prior services, within just one month I see a remarkable difference. Steve and Frank are great – they do things to make the property look marvelous without me having to ask – unlike the previous services I have had. No more weeds in the flower beds, shrubs manicured well and now growing well. And when I do ask for something, they are on it. A special shout out to Ms. Kelly too!
