I’ve worked with The Grounds Guys of Huntsville for two small projects around my house and they did an excellent job each time. If you’re a first-time homeowner, you’d be surprised how difficult it is to find landscaping services who are willing to work small and medium-sized projects. Most places are only interested in large, commercial-scale or high-end residential projects. However, the Grounds Guys worked with me on the small projects around my home and did a great job each time for a reasonable price. Ground Guys exceeded my expectations. We needed about 20 bushes pulled from our flower beds along with rocks and weeds. They did it all in a day, and didn’t leave a mess when they left. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a flower bed renovation.

I contacted the Grounds Guys late on a Friday afternoon, the lady I spoke to was friendly and professional. As promised, Randy promptly reached out to me early the following week and came out that same afternoon to walk thru what I wanted…some major flower bed clean out/up, removal of a few small trees & bushes, and some mulch. He worked with me to create a plan that would make me happy & stay within my budget. Randy was there to walk thru everything again with me and Gilver to make sure we were all on the same page. Gilver and the crew did a great job getting everything done on schedule, they were courteous, asked questions when needed, and were a pleasure to work with. No complaints, 5 stars all the way, I would definitely use the Ground Guys again if the need should arise!

I contacted 3 companies for quotes on sod installation and Randy at the The Grounds Guys had the best one. He recommended a lower cost option since I told him I might sell my house in the next couple of years or so. He ordered the sod that day and his crew installed it the next week. The finished job was exactly as he described and I was very happy with it. I highly recommend them.

Signed up for the year round weed and fertilizer plan. The team was professional and worked around the rain to optimize the weed preventer effectiveness.

In the front yard, the rock garden wrapping around the house needed a complete makeover. It was full of weeds, unhealthy looking plants, and the rock level was pretty thin. I also mentioned water pooling up in the garden and on the sidewalk of our front porch when it rains. On the spot, Randy presented a solution to drain the water from our downspouts further into the yard. Randy gave us a timeline on when to expect drawings, quotes, and when work would start. He was a really great communicator and worked with us every step of the way. Julio and the rest of the team arrived early and knocked everything out pretty much in a day. They completely renovated the rock garden and installed multiple drain pipes in the front yard, and they removed several stumps and rose bushes from the back yard. I was really happy with how everything turned out. My house has a fresh new look, and, overall, it looks a lot more professional and welcoming. I would definitely contact Randy and The Grounds Guys again for any future projects.

I used the ground guys for fall 2022 aeration and over seeding. They were responsive and helpful throughout the entire process from the first time I contacted for a quote, throughout the service and are even coming by in a few weeks to check it out. Spencer communicated the entire process to me, and was timely with his quote and service. Cory was the yard tech and helped me put my flags out, was punctual and very courteous. Of course, he did a great job as well. Highly recommended.

I recently had my front garden beds redone by the Ground Guys and they did an excellent job. My wife is very pleased with the end result. Julio and his team worked their butts off, even spending hours digging through a huge surprise tree root to install a downspout drainage system. Many thanks to them. I know how physically demanding that kind of work is. They even took extra care to split and replant my wife’s existing phlox as they were working the garden beds. Once again thanks to Julio and his crew and also Randy who helped me with the quote, design, and business end of things.

Reached out to these guys to help out with a drainage issue due to having a big low spot in our yard. These guys were professional from start to finish. Everyone had a great attitude and were very thorough. Randy got everything scheduled for us. Gerard, Jarom, and John showed up when they said they would, knocked out the job and made sure I was happy. I’ll be reaching out to them for other projects in the future for sure.

Judy quickly responded to my fall clean up of leaves. I received a call within 30 minutes of requesting service via Angi. She and Mr. Hernandez came out and provided an estimate the same day. The estimate was very reasonable and the service was performed the next day. They even trimmed my bushes, included in the price, and now I can put up my Christmas lights. I will be using their services in the future. Thanks again!

These guys are a remarkable bunch. They do so much more than you might expect. 6 years ago, they expertly planted my entire back yard full.of bushes, plants, trees and palms. They did so against a complicated plan and managed to succeed! They also connected a complete water drip system on an automated timer. Then, they wired and connected a complete landscaping light system to include up lights, spot lights, stair lights and path lights. When all was done, they installed mulch and white river rocks before cleaning everything up. Ok, now, about a month ago, May 2021, my back yard was hit by a lightning strike and took out most of the lights, some of the wire, two transformers, the sprinkler components, and some tubing. They eagerly came out, evaluated the damage, provided an estimate then repaired all the damage. I highly recommend this company..

Tim was absolutely fantastic to work with! He was consistently polite, professional, and friendly. He responded to messages quickly and had helpful suggestions and advice. There was a miscommunication (my fault) and he went above and beyond to make it right. Highly recommended!!
