Nathan was very helpful and worked very hard in the extreme heat to find my irrigation valves and fix the issue that was preventing the system from working correctly. He systematically eliminated the potential problems until it came down to a wire issue somewhere in the yard. He offered 2 options to solve the problem and I decided to run all new wire to the 2 valves myself. Everyone we talked to with this company was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend highly.

We could not be more pleased with the experience we had with The Grounds Guys! After installing an inground pool our yard was an absolute disaster. Something they don’t tell you will happen when you start a project like this! Corey Ball and his team worked wonders! Our project included drainage, bringing in loads of topsoil, grading and complete sod replacement. The crew showed up on time, worked tirelessly and left our project looking much better than they found it. They even pressure washed so as not to leave any trace that they had been there … 100% unexpected, 1000% appreciated! It was a true pleasure to work with such a great company. This was not our first time using The Grounds Guys and it certainly won’t be the last. The Grounds Guys crew worked EXCEPTIONALLY hard in prepping our existing yard by removing (hand-raking) remaining grass/weeds to properly receive the new fill soil that was first spread to provide a healthy rooting-base for our new St. Augustine sod. Their hard work all day proved to be the big reason why our new sod is thriving and growing like crazy now! It’s beautiful! We also had several ornamental shrubs planted (Lorapetalum and special-purchased white Shi Shi Camellias) during same day, and they look fantastic too. Cory (owner) personally went and got the Camellias for us (we feel spoiled, yeah). Our regular (chemical) Lawn-Treatment Contractor (who originally referred us to The Grounds Guys for re-sodding job) came within week after the new sod was placed, and also noted how amazing of a job The Grounds Guys did on the whole project. We are extremely happy with their work, and are now interested in getting their assistance with additional landscaping/ornamental-planting and even a Light-scaping project as well. This was a great experience. They at least called me back, and visited my property about ideas, not like other companies in Baton Rouge that I called. I worked with Steven, he is very knowledgeable about plants and put a great plan together. Our yard looks fantastic. We also add an irrigation system.
