Working with Carl was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a work place. He always puts his employees first and makes sure to communicate with the customers when anything comes up. Grounds Guys of Orange Park have transformed my backyard. We purchased this house over 1 year ago and the back yard was a mess. They came back with a design that had new sod, new plants, and a Dry River Red with river rocks and foliage. Needless to say they are our full lawncare service now with weekly mowing, edging, hedging, and do whatever I need done. Carl and his team are GREAT!

I was getting my house refinanced. At the last minute, my lender said I needed an appraisal. I went into full panic mode. It’s winter. My yard looked AWFUL and I didn’t have the time to do what needed to be done to even look presentable. I called The Grounds Guys. Carl assured me they could handle whatever mess I had going on. He came out the next day for the estimate and did the work the day after that. In ONE DAY my yard went from Florida plant and weed apocalypse to manicured and looking fresh and healthy. I immediately signed up for ongoing services. When doing my initial estimate, Carl walked me through my yard, naming the plants and trees and what they need to grow strong and healthy (I’ve gotten quotes from other yard services in the past, no one else did this). He sees the potential of what my yard could be. I have dogs and he knows I am concerned about how chemical treatments may affect them. He presented me other alternatives for weed control that won’t harm them. We had a massive storm the night before my first service after the initial clean up job. There were branches all over my yard. I planned to leave work early to clean those up, but when I got home they were already handled with my service visit. I can’t say enough good things about The Grounds Guys. If you’re looking for a seasonal cleanup and/or regular ongoing services, you really should give them a shot!! No gimmicks, no up-selling, no surprise expenses. Highly recommended.
