I love gardening and having a nice yard, so I was getting incredibly stressed out when my front yard had almost no grass left. I saw an advertisement for The Grounds Guys of North San Antonio online and decided to call them. The owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, came out right away to measure, and I had a clear estimate the very next day. We scheduled the work, and they promised the job would be completed in three days. They stuck to their word perfectly! First, they removed the old, dead grass, then they brought in good quality soil, and on the third day, they laid down the specific type of grass I chose. The crew worked incredibly hard through those three days, and they were so polite. They even went the extra mile by putting mulch in my flower beds and trimming a couple of bushes in the front. Before they left, they gave me great advice to water it every day and avoid mowing it for 30 days. After a few recent days of heavy rain, my front yard looks absolutely beautiful! The grass is so green and growing so fast. This entire project was managed flawlessly by the owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, and his crew was extraordinary. I recommend The Grounds Guys of North San Antonio 100%!

I wanted to put down some compost in my front and back yard, so I gave Carlos a call. He gave me a quote and said he could do the job the following day. His crew showed up on time and they were able to get the job done quickly. After a few weeks of watering (and some welcomed rain), my yard looks better than ever! I am really happy with the work they did and their customer service.

We are renting out our home soon and our backyard and beautiful pool. We’re in much need of a landscape makeover. Carlos and his team did an amazing job on everything from cleaning out flowerbeds and trimming plants, replanting sod, rebuilding borders and laying down rocks for zero scape gardens, and more. Travis has been very helpful in trying to manage an area of yard that gets muddy, nothing grows, and there had been soil erosion so we agreed on hardscape and it looks wonderful and professional; I am impressed and recommend the service highly for lawn maintenance as well. They do a great job, reasonable prices, quick responses, and capable of lots more than just cutting the grass. They have reshaped our yard after years of mild neglect from previous owners – everything from trimming trees and bushes, installing river rock and stone borders on our landscaping, hauling away debris, etc. to connecting us with their sister company that installs Christmas lights and another that maintains our sprinkler system. Our yard is looking beautiful.
