The front of my house was overcrowded with bushes. John, Tom and Blake(?), showed up on time and got the bushes moved fast. My yard looks a lot better now!

I am pretty new to the Grounds Guys in Kemp. Thus far I have had the pleasure of working with John, Phillip, Jay and Wayne, all of whom deserve management attention (in a good way).. I’m a customer who is hands-on and if I see something I say something. Fortunately, the gentlemen at my home have always been responsive and respectful of my questions, concerns and requests. If I feel something needs to be addressed, I get out there and interrupt, and my concern is addressed … and all with a great attitude. For my situation, as a senior, it’s a little pricey, so I’m probably harder to please, but in general, these guys do a great job.

I started out very unhappy and frustrated , James – the owner of the company took time from his day to come look and listen- that simple task alone is 5⭐️, he understood my concern with some communication breakdown, he is addressing the issues and has went above and beyond to be accommodating. This is a man that truly takes pride in his business and holds his employees to a high standard. The customer service has been top tier and I went from disappointed and frustrated to pleasantly pleased just from the simple task of his efforts to listen to my concerns and my recommendations. Lesson I learned – even when frustrated – give them a chance to listen and correct – and he does listen and is willing to make any corrections !

Drake did a great job solving several issues with our sprinkler system. He showed up on time, diagnosed the issues and repaired the system quickly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Josh was very helpful in developing a plan to deal with our water runoff problems. The crew started work very promptly. Drake and John worked hard to get the job done before the rains hit. They were very detail oriented and their work looked very professional.

These folks did an awesome job for us on a fairly large hardscape project. They always arrived when they said they would and did their work efficiently and respectfully. We definitely feel that we got more than our money’s worth as the work they did exceeded their proposal. Their follow-up after project’s completion was prompt and complete. We highly recommend these folks for any of the services they offer.

Josh was the project manager for our job. Together we came up with a design for our back yard landscape project. They did a great job, followed up when we had a small problem after the job was finished and came out and fixed it, and we are very pleased with the final result. They went over and beyond to make sure everything was done right and we were satisfied.

If you are looking for excellent landscaping with excellent customer service at a competitive cost, The Grounds Guys are for you! Jesse G, Jesse T, James and Tommy were all great and super friendly! They even washed off the driveway to make sure it was all clean before they left! James helped me with my dog that got loose! (so nice and unexpected) Josh worked with us on ideas to make our place look amazing and bring our vision to life! ! He even stopped by the next morning when the job was complete to make sure we were happy! Our landscaping is beautiful! Give them a call! You will be glad you did!

These guys knocked it out of the park, came in a scraped off all the existing grass if you wanna call it that, leaves and acorns. They laid 4 pallets in a short amount of time cutting around sprinkler heads etc. I was very impressed so much that I am bringing these guys back to do the rest the yard. Shout out to Jesse G, Jesse T and Drake. You guys rock!!

They did a great job with our driveway, they fixed our drainage and now will treat our yard for stickers. We would highly recommend them for your yard projects.

I had a drainage issue and flower bed that needed to be raised. After contacting THE GROUNDS GUYS, Josh came out and provided an estimate which I decided to go with after comparing it with five other companies. Josh was willing to visit with me several time via text and onsite prior to me signing the contract. As we all know, not every project goes as planned, but I am very pleased with the final product, their persistence in completing it, and team work. The project was scheduled a little farther out than I had anticipated but they were able to start prior to that date. The Grounds Guys team worked extremely hard and efficiently on completing it in a timely manner. One team member, Doug, stood out amongst the others as a very hard worker. There were some issues that required the team to come back and fix. Josh was willing to come out three additional times with team members to resolve everything to my satisfaction. Yes, there were times when I lost some sleep because things weren’t done exactly as I had requested, but in the long run, Josh was diligent in getting it all completed to my satisfaction. After completion, Josh also made sure that successful testing of the project drained properly. BTW, the receptionist, Drew, is very professional, pleasant, and a joy to talk with over the phone. I highly recommend THE GROUNDS GUYS. The Grounds Guys stuck with me to finish the drainage project. They were willing to continue coming back due to necessary modifications needed to ensure water was going to the correct location. Tommy was always willing to go above and beyond.

The Grounds Guys of Cedar Creek Lake were amazing!!! James, April, and Tommy installed a french drain at my home, and they were fast, efficient, and professional. They explained the process clearly, and I was especially impressed at how well they cleaned up once the job was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Very rarely do I write reviews, however I did want to share our recent positive experience(s) utilizing The Grounds Guys of Cedar Creek. We had several large beds completely re-done removing old mulch and covers, expanding the beds, and replacing the cover with stone, while adding significantly more natural grasses, boulders, and stone edging. What we had imagined, The Grounds Guys delivered. Their communication was some of the best I have experienced regarding landscaping companies I’ve ever partnered. The depth of proposals and consistent feedback during the process was professional, and comforting given the scope. The team which came to do the work was punctual, polite, and took great care of our property while likewise answering questions, or pivoting. We’re beyond happy with the end-state of the project. They nailed the vision we had, and the costs were inline if not better to other companies we had quoted. We will be utilizing them for future projects, as they were exactly what we were looking for and more.

I would give them a hundred Stars if I could! James Williams and Tommy Bryant did a wonderful job on my driveway. I had been embarrassed for years by my old driveway, bouncing over a partially broken out curb. They removed the curb, smoothed out the drive & covered it over with a material I’m very pleased with. This was also done out of the kindness & goodness of their hearts. I can’t thank them & Ground Guys enough!!
