Caring for Fresh Sod

It’s essential to properly care for fresh sod to ensure it thrives. Fresh sod follows a different set of rules than traditional lawn care maintenance. The most important thing is to avoid mowing or playing on the fresh sod for a while. Some of the most important tips to care for your fresh sod include the following:

Week One

  • Don’t allow the sod to dry out, but avoid overwatering it by watering it three to four times a day.
