This is my second year using Grounds Guys of Indian Trail. I have been pleased with their service and communication always but want to share how FANTASTIC they have been with our leaves this fall. They blow the leaves just like I would AND if I’ve collected a pile of sticks and twigs they remove them. Because of the huge volume of leaves we have this is no small task. Today they are here grinding up and removing leaves. This will need to be done again due to our volume but I just want you to know that they are doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend this group!

An amazing thanks to Steve of Grounds Guys-Indian Trail, NC and his crew, Lorenzo and Damien, for their “north to south, east to west” aeration, seeding, and fertilizing my lawn 8 days ago. They were on time, thorough, professional, and pleasant. Remarkably, following their instructions for water care afterwards, we have new grass growing eight days later! We are proud to have had their yard sign among the holes punched until the HOA made us remove it after a few days.

The Ground Guys did our lawn aeration this fall. Their work and attention to detail was fantastic. They did multiple passes on our lawn slowly and covered every part of it. We would definitely recommend The Ground Guys and will be using them in the future.

This is the third year that the grounds guys have maintained our property. Although our home is a part of a small farm, they manage this challenge beautifully. It is a large area that needs mowed with plenty of flowers, vegetables, kids, fire pits, chickens and cats! Nothing phases them. Everything is managed with respect, good humor and every effort to make things right. The crew that manages our property is the best! I highly recommend them.

We had our first lawn service with Grounds Guys Indian Trail and it was GREAT! They came when they said, they did all that they were supposed to do and the yard looked great when they were done. They are the first group who actually mowed the full extent of our property which means they LISTENED when I showed them the boundaries. A bonus was that the crew removed my pile of yard debris from the recent thunderstorms! Thanks Grounds Guys!

The Ground Guys really saved me this past year. In mid-July, I had to have surgery and needed lawn care through the fall. It was hard to find folks that would take on someone mid-season, but the GG did! They had a weekly day that they were in my area and were there every week, weather permitting. Unfortunately, there was some bad timing for weather and they had to miss some visits. Paying monthly, while convenient, means that missed visits cost money. However, at the end of the contract the GG quickly refunded me for those missed visits. Working with them was a pleasure as they were always available by phone and tried to accommodate our special requests. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for lawn care.

The crew did fast thorough work. They cleaned up and left the job site looking great.

The Indian Trail Grounds Guys have performed lawn maintenance and plant care advice for us at a reasonable cost. When we decided to seek help for a backyard garden landscape renovation, we requested a project quotation from them, and chose them for this work. Throughout this renovation project, they sought input from us, and clearly communicated all details and work schedules. The final project was executed very competently, at a competitive cost. We are very impressed with the renovation results, as they have exceeded our expectations. So we heartily recommend this firm!

Steve and the Grounds Crew have made my house look amazing. They are alway willing to accommodate my requests and treat my place like their own. They take their time to complete the job. The Grounds Guys are amazing.

I moved to Matthews in June. Every lawn people I hired were too high and did poor job. When I hire someone to look after my lawn and trees I expect them to answer the phone or answer email in a short time frame. Everyone I hired failed at this. It isn’t good when you need help or something done and the people you hired do not want to talk to you. Ground guys have been great about doing what they said they would do and a phone call or email to them is answered quickly. The Ground Guys rates seem to be lower than other people I have tried.

I am totally impressed with the Grounds Guys of Indian Trail, NC. Boyd and Steve arrived on time and got right to work. Our shrubs hadn’t been trimmed in almost 6 yrs when they were planted. Boyd did an excellent job of trimming just the right amount. We also have a LARGE holly tree at the corner of our home. It had grown so tall and was really a mess! It was trimmed beautifully and with the care as if it was their own. They also managed to remove a shrub that was being shut out by the holly and other gardenia shrubs. We hired the Grounds Guys to lay 1/2” Soil3 topsoil over our entire yard (13,000 sq ft). They got it done on time and did a great job despite it being very hard work. Steve, the owner, was very responsive and great to work with. I highly recommend them for landscaping needs and yard work.

Fantastic workers and work quality! They basically did a “reboot” of our entire front courtyard – sod, shrubs, mulch, walkway. I could not be more pleased with the price and results. Kudos to Steve and his crew!

We initially hired Steve and the Ground Guys to install 12 trees we purchased ourselves, but after meeting them, discussing our plans, learning about the trees we purchased and learning about other available trees (and prices) we ended up purchasing another 12 trees from Ground Guys and having them revise our landscape plan and install all of the trees. We also had them clear out a significant amount of unsightly underbrush and haul all of the yard waste away. These guys are punctual, polite, professional and very knowledgeable. If you are looking for high quality service from good people, we HIGHLY recommend The Ground Guys!!

These guys were great to work with. On time, Professional and very reasonable for what they did. Mowed, trimmed overgrown shrubs, planted bushes, mulched, blew leaves, and pulled out invasive plants along edge of yard. I highly recommend them and also they were very nice to deal with.
