His price was the best, the work began and finished on time, and two months later, the grass is established and blends beautifully with the existing lawn. You couldn’t see the seams between squares, and it was fitted like a carpet around tree and border areas. Carlos even stopped by weeks later to check on it! Highly recommend!

I love gardening and having a nice yard, so I was getting incredibly stressed out when my front yard had almost no grass left. I saw an advertisement for The Grounds Guys of North San Antonio online and decided to call them. The owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, came out right away to measure, and I had a clear estimate the very next day. We scheduled the work, and they promised the job would be completed in three days. They stuck to their word perfectly! First, they removed the old, dead grass, then they brought in good quality soil, and on the third day, they laid down the specific type of grass I chose. The crew worked incredibly hard through those three days, and they were so polite. They even went the extra mile by putting mulch in my flower beds and trimming a couple of bushes in the front. Before they left, they gave me great advice to water it every day and avoid mowing it for 30 days. After a few recent days of heavy rain, my front yard looks absolutely beautiful! The grass is so green and growing so fast. This entire project was managed flawlessly by the owner, Mr. Carlos Salgado, and his crew was extraordinary. Carlos, the owner, came out to my place in less than 24 hours to give me an estimate for the landscape job. Although the job could not be started right away, Carlos gave me an estimate of the start date which turned out to be very close to the actual start date. Once the crew showed up to perform the work, all work was conducted rapidly but very efficiently. The job turned as promised with no shortcuts. Landscape work is not cheap, but the price charged by this contractor was reasonable for the industry. I am satisfied for the quality of work performed and highly recommend this company for your landscape needs.

But I decided to do this because Carlos Salgado and his crew are just tremendous, I take my garden very seriously and am a bit OCD when it comes to how I like things- I travel for living and coming back to my home from long stretches on the road is always a pleasure. Carlos and his Team , have always been spot on and have given great service. Over the last five years Carlos has become a friend and someone I lean on to handle ALL my Gardening needs. Whether he is blowing tons of leaves from the massive oaks on my property or gently trimming around metal barriers that differentiate between plantings, OR bagging my grass. He is worth every penny.
