My landscaping had become very old and overgrown—it was clear that a complete refresh was needed. Although I had a general vision in mind, I wasn’t entirely sure of the best approach. I consulted with several companies to get their input on design concepts for the front beds of my home. Since I had already removed all the outdated landscaping, they were starting with a blank canvas. Ultimately, I chose to work with The Ground Guys, and I couldn’t be more pleased with that decision. From the initial consultation to refining the project scope and completing the final walkthrough, Steve was exceptional. He listened carefully to my specific wish list and incorporated every detail—including the thoughtful replanting of a cherished rose bush that holds sentimental value for my family. The installation team—Angel, Edmundo, and Cleotilde—did a fantastic job. While my project may not have been the most elaborate, they approached every element with care and thoroughness. My daughter happened to stop by during the installation and remarked on how polite and professional the crew was. I’m beyond satisfied with The Ground Guys and will absolutely turn to them for all my future landscaping needs.

First off let me say how great their team is! The teams work in our yard was impeccable. They were very detailed and knowledgeable as they worked on our yard. We ultimately did two different projects with them. They did a water drain and put sod in the back yard. Both projects were done right and look good. You definitely get what you pay for and you’re paying for quality service My only critique was communication from the office side. They were very nice to talk with but at times I felt like I knew less about what was going on than I did before I called and then would wait a couple days for a response. Any issues they came back out to repair within a day or two. Before and after below.

I highly recommend the Grounds Guys of Greenville. We found them online when we did a search for sod installation. Their reviews were great. Our experience with them was phenomenal. We are extremely happy with our new sod. It looked like lush green carpet in no time.

Best experience with a landscaping or lawn care company you could ever ask for. John and his guys run a truly remarkable business. We had them at our home over four different time periods for installation of sod, finish, grading, they brought in some additional topsoil to make sure that the sod will successfully root in place. Angel and his crew did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards they even cleaned up some additional mess that was left on the driveway from some extra work that was being done on the property during their work. When it was discovered that they ran short on some topsoil, they brought in additional topsoil without a hitch, going out of their way to make sure that the sod had the best chance of taking root and growing in successfully. I am now engaged with grounds guys and lawn pride for the maintenance and upkeep of this property that my family and my mother-in-law both live on. If you have any need for landscaping, yard maintenance, irrigation or grading, grounds Guys Greenville SC are definitely the people to call.

We wanted to give a shout out to Grounds Guys of Greenville for their superior landscaping work. They more than met our expectations in creating our vision all around our house. Their project manager, Steven, worked with us, giving us excellent advice and recommendations when we asked for them. They also helped us manage costs by repurposing shrubs in our backyard. Angel and Reese, as well as their helpers, went over and beyond to make sure we were satisfied!

The Grounds Guys did an incredible job installing drainage in my backyard! Before their work, every time it rained, I’d end up with a small pond back there. Now, the drainage system handles the water perfectly, and my yard stays dry even after heavy downpours. The team was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything. I’m thrilled with the results and highly recommend them for any landscaping or drainage needs!

The Grounds Guys did a great job putting up my home’s Christmas lights and garland. The crew was professional and efficient and I love that they will come back and take the lights down and store them until next year!

I hired The Grounds Guys of Greenville to cleanup four very large trees that fell during Hurricane Helene. Angel and Edmundo were able to complete the job in a single day. The City of Greenville is picking up large storm debris at no cost. So, I just asked them to stack the wood by the road instead of hauling it away. That saved us a considerable about of money.
