The crew was very thorough

My lawn was shot, before and after pics. Called The Ground Guys in and now it’s beautiful! Great work, quality Guys and the owner and son were excellent to work with! Highly recommend for your next sod job! ***Update*** I will have an update to this review. It’s been two months and i thought this review need an update. More details to follow.

Very professional

They did a phenomenal job! They put new sod down and took care of all my landscape beds by removing the rocks I had put down and put new weed fabric and clean rocks down. They also had a very reasonable price.

Tony and his team did a great job resoding my backyard. After 20+ years it was over run by weeds, compacted, and tired. They were in and out in less than a day and the results are beautiful! I’ll definitely be calling back in the spring for help with some new landscaping projects.

We are extremely pleased with Tony and his team with the amazing transformation done to our front yard. The 20+ year old bushes needed massive revamping. Very professionally done in a timely fashion. From getting a great rendering of what the outcome would look like and seeing the picture come to reality, we could not more happier. Highly recommend The Ground Guys to help transform your yard. After much research, and wanting to change the YARD service that I had , because they were not doing what was needed. I found The Grounds Guys of Saint Johns ! The owner , Tony , met with me and we went over needs the for two different properties that I have in The Shores , discussing three different phases of yard projects, over time .. for now, we needed a really good clean up, including weeding which a lot of YARD services won’t do . We needed trimming and edging and mowing and we needed a little extra care because of things that are going on., now , the crew came and they did an incredibly wonderful job!!! We look forward now to the future projects in mind, and having them for weekly or biweekly maintenance. Tony listens to you and he care about what your needs are and he does have excellent suggestions . My partner and I highly recommend this company.. !!!!! The Grounds Guys of Saint Johns, as for Myself and my sister who lives in another home in the Shores, cannot tell you how much we are relieved having them on board .. for us!! Thank you to all !! Wow! I contracted with Grounds Guys for monthly service and had them give an estimate for a complex irrigation project after a lot of new landscape installation. They thought of everything and the result is superb – came out for repair consultation, repair estimate received next day and it was extremely competitive- two days later they were out!

They show up when they promise to which is good but my lawn is not looking great and the edging is forgotten at places often, with lots of weeds on the flower bed not taken care of. I wish they would spend a bit more time and care for our yard. * updating to 5 stars as the manager showed up at our house after seeing this review and fixed the issue. The team spend 5 times more time on our yard!

Tony and his team were great. We had them install sod. Everything was performed as agreed and the sod has taken perfectly. A pleasure to deal with.

My husband and I were in the market for a backyard make over, and we called many companies- some would take a week to get back with us, others would text spur of the moment, and some zero communication and just showed up unannounced at our door to take measurements for our much needed sod job. Tony scheduled appropriately and promptly with my husband, and had exceptional communication start to finish. We told Tony it was between him and one other company- however there was quite a gap between the estimates for the same work. Not only for the lower cost, but Tony was great from the start, we are so pleased with the installers, they were efficient and polite, no loud music, foul language, or long break times- they came, worked, and got the job finished while doing it right. I highly recommend this company- they won’t disappoint.

It seems there was a misunderstanding between myself and Tony, the owner of the Grounds Guys. But Tony came over to my house personally and explained what actually happened. So I am definitely thankful that he took the time out of his busy schedule to do that. I also let Tony know that his crew workers are unique in this day and age, because they are very respectful and take pride in their work. So I’d definitely recommend the Grounds Guys

I needed re sodding done in one area in front of the house. The ground guys came out and gave me a quote and were here within days and got it finished. I’m very impressed with their services and how quickly they were able to deliver. They are easy to work with and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

Tony and his crew do an amazing job from designing new landscaping to regular yard maintenance. They are respectful of the property extremely considerate and polite. Tony answered all of our questions. Went through several revisions and made sure we were happy with the design before he put anything in.

Trailmark back yard erosion from rainfall compromising fences, burying sprinkler head and an overall headache from the day I moved in. DR Horton, the builder, was no help in fixing the issue after 3 attempts and ignoring my suggestion to build a wall. Finally they denied my claim so I called Tony. The guys built a retaining wall behind the problem area and put in an extra surface drain surrounded by a stone base area to collect the volume of water that leaves the property in that area. They also put another surface drain in another area of the yard I was having issues with. The guys worked hard and were diligent in their quest to rectify the situation. I think they may have finally solved my issue. Thanx guys.

I am so happy with the work the Grounds guys did for me! I had some leveling of my backyard done and a short wall to help the slop ! Excellent service, great communication, and a job done on time. I am so happy with the job they did, I am having my whole front yard redone with new zoysia grass.
